About the Role
Red Dot Analytics is looking for a junior Front-End Engineer with a primary focus on testing and quality assurance to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between development and quality assurance, ensuring the front-end components of our software applications function seamlessly and meet our high standards for quality.
Key responsibilities
Develop and execute detailed test plans to validate the functionality and appearance of front-end components, ensuring they align with design and performance expectations;
Conduct a mix of manual and automated testing, with an emphasis on manual testing to keep up with the fast paced release of features;
Analyze test results and work with developers to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes and suggest improvements;
Diagnose, document, and collaborate with other developers to resolve front-end issues efficiently.
Requirements
Minimum Required:
Diploma or above in computer science, information systems, or related engineering field;
Minimum 1 year of working experience in quality assurance or front-end testing;
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to understand and manipulate the front-end code for testing purpose;
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to identify and address the issues proactively;
Detailed-oriented with strong passion for quality and user experience;
Eagerness to learn more advanced skills including automated testing tools and frameworks.
Preferred:
Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress or similar frameworks;
Knowledge of JavaScript framework such as React or Angular is a plus;
